No Name Calling Week - January 16th - 19th, 2018

Tuesday - "Be a Buddy, Not a Bully" - Twin Day
Wednesday - "Dream of a World with No Name-Calling or Bullying" - Pajama Day (onesies are allowed as long as they are school appropriate)
Thursday - "Shade out the Hate" - Wear Sunglasses (students must comply to requests by teachers to remove sunglasses during classtime)
Friday - "We are all on the same team against Name-Calling and Bullying" - Wear your favorite Pepperell attire (school colors).

This year's theme is #kindnessinaction

Congratulations to our new Assistant Principal, Mr. Brandon Parker!

Mr. Parker is a native of Floyd County and a graduate of Armuchee High School. After graduation he attended Jacksonville State University, where he earned a B.S. degree in Secondary Education in 2004 and began teaching in the Floyd County School System. He first taught special education and history at Pepperell High School before moving to Pepperell Middle School in 2012. He currently teaches 7th and 8th grade social studies and serves as the school's Athletic Director. Mr. Parker also holds advanced degrees from Walden University (M.Ed.) and Lincoln Memorial University (Ed.S.)

BoxTops

Collecting Box Tops is a very easy way to help our school! You might think they are only worth 10 cents, but when collected by many, they really add up! This was with only a small portion of our school population participating. Just think what we could do if everyone clipped those little rectangles!  You can find Box Tops on thousands of your favorite products, from cereals to Avery Office Products to Hanes T-shirts to printer paper.
