Update on the Can-A-Thon...

Congratulations to Coach Brandon Parker's 7th grade Homeroom!  They collected over 1,200 cans for the Can-A-Thon and will receive a Pizza Party!  Coach Parker will get a day off for his efforts as well!

Even though the 7th grade homeroom had the most cans, 8th grade - District 21 brought in the most cans overall, so they will get an afternoon on the hill!  Congratulations and way to go, District 21!

Thanks to everyone at PMS that contributed and helped out with the Can-A-Thon!  We were able to raise 12,735 cans to help feed the hungry.  The entire Pepperell community raised over 40,000 cans this year, contributing to the - over 100,000 cans raised for the Salvation Army.  What an awesome community effort!

It's Can-A-Thon Time Again!

Student Council is collecting cans/items ($1=2 cans if you want to bring cash) for the can-a-thon to deliver to the Forum on December 2nd.  Students can bring cans and be eligible for the following rewards:

25 cans - Participate in the new Lip Sync Battle (5 cans to attend)
50 cans - Attend a movie with popcorn at PMS
100 cans - Attend the field trip to the Forum to deliver the cans!

- The homeroom that donates the most cans wins a pizza party!
- The District that donates the most cans wins time on the hill one afternoon!
- The winning teacher will get a day off and Mrs. McCoy will teach their class!
- The teachers of the winning district will get lunch from student council!

All items are due by November 28th to be eligible for the field trip, but we will take cans up until December 1st.

Remember, we LOVE the Hunger Games, but hunger is not a game so help us out by donating your canned goods to the can-a-thon! Our goal this year is 20,000 cans!

BoxTops

Collecting Box Tops is a very easy way to help our school! You might think they are only worth 10 cents, but when collected by many, they really add up! This was with only a small portion of our school population participating. Just think what we could do if everyone clipped those little rectangles!  You can find Box Tops on thousands of your favorite products, from cereals to Avery Office Products to Hanes T-shirts to printer paper.
